Hi, I'm Madeline—a book lover, video editor, and the person behind Pride and Paperbacks.

My love for books started young and has only grown over the years. I have a degree in English Literature, I'm a published writer, and when I'm not working as an editor in the film and television industry, you'll usually find me with a book in hand—preferably something by Jane Austen, a vintage classic with a beautiful binding, or an intriguing find from a charity shop.

Pride and Paperbacks grew out of my passion for vintage books and classic literature. I love the hunt—scouring estate sales, antique markets, and used bookshops for beautiful editions that deserve a second life on someone's shelves. Each book in my collection is handpicked, whether it's a beloved classic or a fascinating vintage find. I'm based between London and New York, which means I get to explore bookshops and literary sites on both sides of the Atlantic.
